Design Tower
Design Tower proposes a new way of living in Miami: a mixed-use complex in Sunny Isles whose fluid, nature-inspired façade brings together residences, offices, and retail into a single sculptural presence facing the ocean.

Design Tower originates from a systematic interpretation of nature. Its volumes shift against one another at differentiated heights, directing views toward the bay and optimizing solar incidence across a façade conceived as a morphologically continuous skin — an organic mesh that interweaves the building's levels with the coherence of a living organism.
The GRC structure forms the load-bearing "nerves" of that skin, branching toward the base of the building in a gesture reminiscent of a tree's root system. The materials play between transparency and reflectivity, transforming the envelope throughout the day as light and sky pigmentation shift. The double-height balconies generate a hypnotic pattern of fill and void, animated by sunlight in constant motion.
The podium connects the project to the pedestrian scale and urban fabric. Each level varies in shape and dimension, linked by stairs in an overlapping, fluid spatial sequence. The elevated terrace with its infinity pool, the wellness center, the private restaurant, and the coworking spaces transform the building into a self-contained ecosystem for those who inhabit it.
The residential units are organized as lofted spaces, framed by the curved and lineally continuous mesh of the GRC façade — integrating structure and identity into a single architectural gesture.
