Punta Medanos House

Punta Médanos House is a project that solves a program of 100 square meters in a compact volume that optimizes spaces.
The volume is divided according to two main sectors with differentiated needs: services, which are concentrated towards the southwest, and common use spaces, which respond to a situation of openness and expansion towards the northwest, taking advantage of the best views and lighting.
Materiality takes elements from the context and is linked to it in different ways. The wood in dark tones generates a contrast that stands out from the environment during the day, contrary to the night situation, in which the house blends in with its surroundings.
The front façade has a sober and discreet design, presenting a duality of openings according to the intended use, also a certain degree of security given the possibility of hiding the entrances.
