Terra takes the identity of its place as its starting point. The project recovers the morphological and material qualities of Villa La Angostura —its peaked rooflines, its timber, its vegetation— and raises them into a contemporary architectural language. The mountain is not a backdrop: it is the building's formal origin. The ground floor organizes a commercial passage that connects the area's main avenues, generating an active and permeable walkway. On the upper levels, the residential units arrange their windows to capture panoramic views of the surrounding lake and peaks. The material palette —neutral tones, warm wood, and vegetation both inside and out— produces interiors that extend the atmosphere of the natural landscape. The project builds a precise bond between its inhabitants and the Patagonian Andean scenery. The outdoor walkways, integrated vegetation, and domestic scale of its roofline make Terra an urban fragment that genuinely belongs to its place.
