S House

Casa S articulates light and privacy through a geometry of curves and straight lines that defines each space as an autonomous unit within a continuous whole. A house in Pilar, Buenos Aires, where white surfaces and wood sustain a domestic life open to the outdoors.

Casa S originates from a precise intention: to build a space that is simultaneously luminous and sheltered, where privacy does not preclude openness. The project builds its identity through the composition of curves and straight lines — a formal logic that allows each room to be read as a singular piece and, at the same time, as part of a coherent sequence. The curves generate continuous openings and semi-covered areas that expand the views from each space. The volumes shift in offset, releasing perspectives and connecting interior and exterior through a gallery that links the integrated living room, kitchen, and dining area with the grill and lounge zone, dissolving finally into the pool and the green backdrop. The materiality reinforces that logic: the purity of white and the warmth of wood construct an elegant, sober atmosphere, where lighting operates as a compositional element. When the carpentry opens, the heart of the house expands, broadening the occupancy of the shared space and enabling dynamic, relational ways of living. Developed across 320 m² on two levels, Casa S proposes a domesticity that rises above its surroundings with formal precision, marking a distinct presence within its context.
